What are the specials? Any special events, performances, etc, happening? Is there a link somewhere with regularly updated content?

I like the calendar at beacon citizen (beaconcitizen.com). It has an RSS feed as well. Go to beaconcitizen.com, select "What's Happening" from the main menu bar, select "Events." Max's updates it regularly with their events (or they did for a while).

Tuesday nights are Trivia, Wednesday nights ladies nights, Thursday night is $5 of steaks, live music Friday and Saturday nights.

You can also go to their site, maxsonmain.com (if you like your browser running lots of javascript). Click the "events" brick.
