Well, glad you asked "ken."

BEAHIVE (no "the") is more than simply a coworking (no hyphen) space. We’re building a rich community of members from diverse backgrounds with a range of creative and technical talents and a desire to improve our professional lives, but also our personal lives and our community.

Ultimately BEAHIVE IS supporting a Local Living Economy, one that is vibrant, sustainable, locally rooted and human scale. (To that end, I've cofounded a nonprofit aligned with BEAHIVE: Re>Think Local.)

I'm pretty confident BEAHIVE will have a positive impact on the local communities we’re in (Beacon, of course, and currently Albany, as well) and the whole Hudson Valley region.

More about the larger vision here.
